Check out a few of our recent projects and learn
how we help turn clients' headaches into heroes.

Alberta Grains needed a technical manual built for its farmer members. Countless documents from scientists were in various formats, styles and came rife with hastily constructed charts and formatting errors. The client was in desperate need of a professional communications product.
In short, this is basically like every project we do.

We had to properly edit and format hundreds of pages of unedited text across multiple documents and formats. New charts and visuals were required and every sentence had to be cleaned up along the way.

A beautifully designed professional 172-page technical manual for farmers and agronomists. Original graphics and smart layout give this book a dynamic look that the client was thrilled to share with members.

"Bacque 40 was a pleasure to work with on our Barley Production Manual. Their professionalism, consistent communication and quick turnaround times kept the project moving smoothly. Their attention to detail throughout the production process resulted in a final product we are proud to share with our producers."
- Harley Groeneveld, senior manager, communications and marketing, Alberta Grains

Our client has an ongoing need to morph complex subjects into understandable formats for urbanites. Often, this relates to agricultural-specific content that may not be easily understood by the general public. called knowledge translation and transfer (KT).
We routinely carry out this work for many clients. It was an easy yes.

Research and understand the ins and outs of a given subject, which often involves technical information, but present it in a way that the average reader would understand. A conversational tone was key to success.

KT content that was just what the client wanted and also landed with the intended urban audience. Overall, the goal is to generate positive associations about farming and food, and these pieces achieve just that.

"It takes a special skill set to communicate the complexities of modern agriculture to consumers, which is a priority for us. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to count on the deep writing and communication talents, professionalism and timeliness we've seen from Bacque 40."
- Penny Eaton, managing director of stakeholder relations, Canadian Food Focus

Farmbucks is a grain pricing app that gives farmers transparency into the world of commodity pricing like never before. Its eNewsletter was run by its founder, a full-time farmer, and she faced a regular challenge to publish a consistent product each week and manage her farm.
This is where Bacque 40 stepped in and said, "Yes, we can help!"

We take what's already built and breathe life onto an existing product. The client prefers a no-frills design to give farmers the information they need immediately, and also showcase her personality and love of emojis 😄.

The eNewsletter continues to perform well with metrics important to the client trending in the right direction. A strong eNewsletter makes a big difference, especially when customers expect critical, timely information.

"I engaged Bacque 40 to take charge of my grain marketing eNewsletter. Immediately it improved, from the look and feel to the open rate and subscriber count. The weekly content was impeccably woven together and the product was greatly enhanced. I encourage you to reach out to them for your project needs."
- Lynn Dargis, founder and CEO of Farmbucks
